Recap 30 Days of Play #LegoDUPLO Challenges You

We’re over the half way mark of the LegoDuplo 30 Days of Play Challenge with Today’s Parent; can you believe how time has flown by?  I should have known that would happen; the saying “Time flies when you’re having fun!” rings true in every circumstance.  The fun wasn’t limited to Baby Girl as I had thought it might be at the beginning of these challenges; all of the children enjoyed building their own unique creations with some reminders to include their baby sister in the building fun.  Baby Girl is still pretty young but with some help from us, she has learned how to build, create and learn along the way.  I find it amazing to see her learning and developing before my eyes.

Recapping, I’d have to say Baby Girls favorite challenges so far were:

The Store N Pour Challenge – Build a container to fill with various other lego and toys and watch them pour all over the floor.  She had no interest in the cleanup portion of the challenge, not surprisingly. *smirk*

The Roll N Bowl Challenge – All little ones LOVE to knock things over, Baby Girl is no exception.  She played with this challenge for a good 45 minutes using different cars each time to knock over the numbered pins.

The Make N Bake Challenge – Build an oven and cook different foods.  Here she has a fish roasting on the grill but her other favorite food piece to use in many of her challenges was the steak.  I caught her licking her lips in this challenge.

Animal Adventures Challenge – Build to match the animal characters.  Baby Girl loved this challenge and laughed hysterically listening to me make all the animal noises to each animal we played with.  Someone please tell me what sound a giraffe makes; maybe that’s why she was laughing at me so hard. 😉

It’s not too late to take part in the 30 days of play #LegoDUPLO challenge for the remainder of the 30 days.  I promise you will have a blast watching your little one learn before your eyes and I bet you’ll even get in on the play; you are never too old for Lego’s.  If you decide to take the challenge, you could have a chance to win a trip for 4 to LegoLand in California OR Florida.  LEGOLAND; need I say more?!  The more important part of the 30 days of play is that LEGO® DUPLO® will donate up to $8,000 in toys to Make-A-Wish® Canada every time you share each challenge on your Facebook and Twitter accounts or email the challenges to your friends and family.
