Lately I feel like I don’t know if I’m coming or going. Here I thought with the end of the school year relaxing summer days would follow…not so much. I’m just as busy with various things as I was when the kids were in school and I was packing lunches 5 days per week. Can you believe summer is half over? I think I’m afraid to slow down, I might actually crash if I were to take a moment to myself.

I take time out by reading books and going for long walks.
I take time out nearly daily for my workout. I don’t always enjoy it, but I think it is one of the best things I can do for myself.

I take time to myself by reading blogs and entering giveaways
I like to take a nice long walk along the river in my neighborhood.
I grab a good book and head down to the lake.
I like to soak in a hot bubble bath with a good book!
About the only time I get for myself is in the shower – so sad!
I go for a bike ride!
I take time out for myself by doing yoga or walking or reading!!
often my time alone is spent walking the dogs, sometimes it seems like a chore but other times I enjoy the fresh air, exercise. i like being able to listen to music or pray by myself.
Once every couple of months, I go to a concert
I take regular afternoon naps. zzzz
Wake up an hour early to enjoy my cup of Joe. Occasionally I swap babysit time with friend to have a me time out in town.
I try to get some reading in every evening.
I love to get a mani pedi as a treat for myself.
Alone time, quiet time to sit and think.
I go to the hairdresser or spend time alone at home or shopping.
I like to find time to workout and I like to find time to watch my favorite tv shows to relax!
I enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book out in the garden
Read a good book or watch anime (marathon)
I take a calm bath when the kids are sleeping
I run. alone. safely. That is how I have “me” time
I watch tv
I like to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee while playing on the internet.
My me time consists of reading and entering contests
Once a week, I take an hour and head to our local thrift store/food bank. Over the years, I’ve become friends with the employees and I head there for a coffee and some toys for the kids.

go to gym for 1 1/2 hrs read news paper, practice my saxophone( I belong to 9 bands) love to cook and shop for groceries..then i listen to music and watch the news on TV
I go for a long walk or take and hr for myself just to read or catch up on a show
