#EggsploreOutdoors Across Canada and $6000 in Giveaways

When we were about to build our home on the farm, we approached environment Canada to ensure we were not to disrupt natural habitats of endangered species, such as the Burrowing owl, known to be endangered in the area. Living in a rural environment my family has the luxury of actively enjoying the beauty of nature and it’s wild creatures.  As farmers we know and respect the natural order of things, only taking from the land what we need and replacing it with regrowth.  It’s important to us to teach our kids to lead an active healthy lifestyle, producing and nourishing from the fruits of our farm and reminding them to step outside and respect the wild.

Bike for Wildlife

This year the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) has combined efforts with Athletic Ambassador, Angella Goran, and sponsors, such as Burnbrae Farms, to spread the message of the importance of getting outside and conserving wildlife in Canada in the Bike for Wildlife program and Eggsplore the Outdoors contest.   From August 14 to October 29, 2013 Angella will be making a 6,000km bike ride across Canada from Victoria, BC to Halifax, NS.  Along her way, Angella will be stopping at various locations where she will be speaking to communities about the program and encouraging Canadians to get outdoors, connect with nature and lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

On September 14th, Angella will be making a stop in Regina, Saskatchewan at the Rough Riders home game sharing her message at specially planned events. To learn how to get involved in Regina or check if Angella will be making a stop in your community where Angella will encourage you to get out, get active in the environment and be healthy, view her itinerary. Donations can also be made to support the Bike for Wildlife campaign.

Living a Healthy Lifestyle

Burnbrae Farms has joined the Bike for Wildlife campaign to help spread the message of leading an active and healthy lifestyle.  Burnbrae Farms and their new mascot will be on location at Bike for Wildlife events across Canada, sharing in the message and handing out prizes in support.

Part of being healthy is starting the day out right with a healthy breakfast to give you the proper nutrients and energy you need for the days events. Angella Gorran also knows the importance of eating right before heading out on her journey each day; a healthy start to the day fills her energy bank and fuels her muscles to see her through.  Eating a healthy breakfast doesn’t have to take long, a high protien smoothie like the Morning Blender Boost with Naturegg™ Simply Egg Whites™ will give a quick and lasting boost of energy and takes less than 5 minutes to prepare.
