The Doctor is IN and a Contest Fit for a Mermaid #DisneyJuniorMom

At the beginning of summer I made a promise to myself that I would relax and enjoy the time off with my kids. I did but the summer seemed to fly by faster than other years and here we are back in the first week of school; the kids are in grades 6, 7 & 10 and I’m left with a quivering lip. Where did my babies go? I must have blinked. Here we are in September and Baby Girl has begun to preschool homeschool with the usual printable teachings, song and daily dose of pretend play. The Doctor is in on the farm; will you be the next patient?

Baby Girls favourite Disney series, Doc McStuffins, took a break from new episodes for the summer but where one Doc was out, Doc McMuffin had stepped in. Thankfully for Baby Girls sake, Baby Ro is such a good sport about being gently poked and prodded. Up until Baby Ro was born, Baby Girl had a parade of stuffed animals to come through her Pediatrics office; there wasn’t anything she couldn’t “fix” because needles fix everything, right? Uh Ro, Baby Ro. With a few lessons of being careful and gentle and under the watchful eye of mom, Baby Ro was the perfect guinea pig, err, patient.

Doc McStuffins: The Doc is back in; brand new episodes premiere every Sunday at 11am ET starting September 15th. Whatever the illness her stuffies might come down with, Doc McStuffins always has the perfect remedy.

Ever since the moment I watched Little Mermaid, I have loved the movie and have watched it either by myself or with my own family many times since. The Under the Sea Adventure is filled with inspiring friendships, scary villians and a love story that always makes me cry. To celebrate the Diamond Edition release of Disney’s Little Mermaid on October 1st, Disney Junior Canada is giving you the chance to win a round-trip to Toronto to experience Canadaโ€™s Private Red Carpet Screening of the Little Mermaid, complete with an Under the Sea Adventure experience at the TIFF Bell Lightbox for the little one before the show. The Little Mermaid Contest will award one lucky family will be flown to Toronto to enjoy the event, along with a 2-night hotel stay, transportation, $1,000 in spending money and a special gift bag for the little ones.

Little Mermaid on Disney Junior: The Little Mermaid series is coming back exclusively to Disney Junior, weekdays at 8pm ET starting Monday, September 16th!

Do you know a little (wanna-be) mermaid that would be excited to see the Little Mermaid on the big-screen?

More Disney Junior

Justin Time: Brand New Episodes of Justin Time Justin and his imaginary pals, Olive and Squidgy, are back and on the hunt for more global adventures in the second season of the Canadian original series Justin Time premiering Sundays at 8:30am ET, starting September 8th. The trio encounters new faces and new places this fall as they set out on quests to learn and discover a world they are destined to explore.

Disclosure: Iโ€™m part of the Disney Junior Mom program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
