This Lil Piglet

Wine in Comfort Winter Fashion Look

With the colder weather my instinct turns to cozy sweaters but there’s a way to pull a cozy sweater into a look without it making you look too relaxed. This season I’m really loving the burgundy and caramel colours together. I think this look comes together nicely with a touch of gold, deep burgundy bag and a slightly loud leopard print belt to keep the cozy caramel  wrapped snugly in place. Creating this look had me curious; do you say caramel care-a-mel OR car-mel?

Of course the look isn’t complete without the right beauty look. Marcelle has some gorgeous colours with their Quad eyeshadows, shown here in Nouveau Nude. If you want to go a little more dramatic for an evening look, try a slightly deeper hue of colour in the Quad eyeshadow, Sundance.

I prefer a cream blush because it blends better and gives a nice glow to your cheeks, even when you haven’t just come in from the crisp winter cold. The Coral cream blush, shown here, is my favourite colour; just a little blended into your cheeks will compliment the stunning eyes you’ll have with the quad eyeshadows, top the shadow off with a liquid black eyeliner and mascara to make your eyes pop. With a more dramatic eye, a light lip colour with sheer gloss completes the look. I like the Rouge Xpression Lipstick in Sentimental with a Lux Gloss in Sheer over top to finish off this gorgeous Wine in Comfort Fashion and Beauty look.

  1. Ca-ra-mel all the way! Because caramel is such a delicious and sweet thing, we should indulge in it completely and savour the word by pronouncing each syllable. My 2 cents :o)
