Tex-Mex Baked Potatoes
This post is part of the YummyMummyClub.ca and Kraft Cheesefest #KraftCheesefest sponsored program.
From the moment I wake up groggy from the numerous wake-up calls of my littlest one, I hit the ground running. My day doesn’t slow down until my kids are finally in bed at their staggered bedtimes when I finally crash from exhaustion for the night. Having all ages doesn’t allow for much me-time so when it comes to meal time, I’m looking for easy recipes with ingredients I already have on hand.
Kraft Cheese Whiz can always be found in my fridge, its one product that continues to be a favourite across the ages of the household. For me, the versatility is endless and can replace most ingredients to make quick and easy recipes when life keeps us hopping. Whether I’m whipping up a quick after-school snack, like nachos smothered in Kraft Cheese Whiz, or making a family meal, Kraft Canada makes easy weekday meals possible for my family.
I was scouring the Kraft Canada website for recipes the other day looking for inspiration when I came across the Tex-Mex Baked Potatoes; cheesy potatoes? Sign me up! Not only did my family love the extra kick in the Cheez Whiz, the kids actually ate all of their food and I don’t think I have to tell you what a big deal that is. What I loved most about this recipe was how easy and quick it was. Quick, easy and the kids liked it…it’s a keeper!
I love all kinds of cheese. What’s not to love about cheese? Cheese adds to the flavour punch in any recipe, an explosive reaction with your taste buds. Naturally when I heard about the Kraft Cheesefest, I couldn’t help but get excited.
