DIY Boo Halloween Ghost Treat Bags
A note arrived home this week from my preschoolers teacher inviting my daughter, Hubs and I to a little Halloween costume celebration tomorrow for the class. We’re invited to come in costume and bring nut-free treats for the kids, which Baby Girl is overly excited about. Normally I try to bring something cutesy for these types of things but being short on time I needed an easy last minute Halloween treat bags idea, like this adorable Halloween Ghost Treat Bags idea that I’m calling Boo Bags.
The kids will likely get enough candy and to avoid the nut-free policy I decided popcorn filled Boo bags were perfect. They are easy to make, budget-friendly and a great option for last minute ideas. Already having some materials and the picking up the rest at the dollar store, I made these bags for less that $5 for all 10.
What you Need
- small white craft bags ($1 for 3)
- googly eyes ($1)
- white glue
- black marker
- seal-able clear bags
- popcorn
How to Assemble
- Glue two googly eyes on the bags with white glue.
- Draw a ghost mouth with the black marker.
- Fill the seal-able bag with popcorn, stuff the Boo bags with the popcorn bags and hand out to smiling ghouls and goblins.
If you like these, I’d love for you to pin these designs on Pinterest and make sure to follow along on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram for more fun ideas.
Are you handing out any special treats this Halloween? My daughter loves to glue which makes this project easy, affordable and one she’ll be proud to handout to her classmates this Halloween. Happy Halloween from our family to yours!
