Chocolate Chip Banana Loaf

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1½ cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ½ chopped walnuts
  • 1½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl place dry ingredients and add butter, blend until crumbly.
  3. Fold in beaten eggs, mashed bananas, walnuts and chocolate chips until mixed.
  4. Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray, pour batter into the pan and place into the oven for 1 hour, or until the loaf is a golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
