Herb and Garlic Cheese Roll Loaf #MemorableMelts

  • 3½ c bread flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2¼ tsp instant/quick rise yeast
  • 1¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ c milk
  • 1 c + 2 tbsp warm water
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 package of Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia
  1. Add flour, sugar, yeast and salt to a stand mixer.
  2. Add olive oil, milk and warm water turning mixer on low speed with the dough hook, increasing speed until dough pulls away from the bowl, shape into a ball.
  3. Place dough in a large greased bowl, cover and leave in a warm location until doubled.
  4. Roll the dough on a slightly floured surface to an approximate 10 x 18" rectangle. Brush with 3 Tbsp melted butter and sprinkle with the cheese.
  5. Roll dough tightly taking care to keep the cheese in the roll. Cut into ½" rolls and place on top of each other, stacking the rolls.
  6. Transfer rolls to a lightly greased 10-inch loaf pan. Loosely cover and allow to rise for 45 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drizzle with remaining melted butter. Bake for 40 minutes, making sure the top doesn't become too brown.
