In a seal-able bag, put all but the Parmesan ingredients, seal the bag and massage until fully coated.
Place in the refrigerator for a minimum 1 hour to marinate.
Put the package of marinated potatoes in a foil pan or packet before placing on a preheated grill, low-medium heat, for approximately 40 minutes, tossing or shaking occasionally to avoid burning or uneven cooking.
Right before serving, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and serve with sour cream and real bacon bits (optional).
