Party with SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party Lego Set Sweeps
Half way through summer and my kids are already telling me they are “sooooo bored”. I’m sure I’m not the only mom out there with kids begging for a little hands on entertainment this summer. My kids get more than their fill of electronics and I can always tell when it’s time for them to get outside or back to the basics of hands on imaginitive play like this LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party building playset.
My 10 year old, Squeakers, was especially excited when I placed the SpongeBob playset into her hands; she’s a SpongeBob fan through and through. Squeakers quickly began ripping the packages of 471 lego pieces open, including all the popular characters, SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Gary and Mrs. Puff , when Hubs pointed out that it would be easier if she opened the packages as she went through the instructions; with so many pieces this wasn’t the best plan of attack. Hubs graciously offered to help her sort back through the pieces, not that she had a choice; Hubs has been a lego fanatic since he was a small child.
Squeakers favourite features of the set was SpongeBob’s bed which pops up and the merry-go-round where she could spin all the characters at once. The set took a little while to put together and I thought she would lose interest but she happily played with the set until she had it completely assembled. As I watched her and Hubs put together the set, it was cute to see them partying with characters, making up party conversation and as the party went on even had a dance off between SpongeBob and Squidward. Let me tell you, Patrick the starfish can lay down one sweet beat on his DJ table.
The LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party building playset contains 471 pieces and is recommended for children between the ages of 6 and 11. This set is action packed with all the well-loved SpongeBob characters in mini form, best friend starfish Patrick’s juice bar, Mrs. Puff’s playground madness, Squidward’s music stand and art studio and even SpongeBob’s sidekick, Gary the meowing snail; great for little hands and with moveable parts to add to the interactive fun. Mom’s know when their kids are going stir-crazy; the LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party is the perfect building playset to occupy little hands for 30 minutes or more of somewhat quiet fun.
