Not too long ago we purchased a bedding set that matched Miss Priss’ chosen feature wall colour, slime green, not an easy task.  The bedding set was beautiful and went with the theme of her room and her personality; the problem was that it fell apart after the first wash.  Recently we were given the chance to review this gorgeous bedding set, the Turquoise and Lime Layla set for kids and teens, which complimented her crazy lime green wall colour perfectly.

Finding something to suit Miss Priss’ tastes these days takes a little work but I let her choose this bedding set herself so she was very excited to place it on her bed as soon as it arrived.  At first glance I found the pattern to be lovely, a crisp and simple look with a splash of colour and the perfect match for my daughters personality.  The price point was reasonable for the set at only $99.99 for this 3 piece queen set where many other comparables would be much higher priced.  I’m all about saving money whenever I can.  Upon looking closer, the pattern was  consistant; I was impressed to find where most other comforter patterns end at the head of the bed, this set continued on around in the square border and piping pattern, just as the shams did.  The stitching was also consistant and secured the cotton in place through the comforter, a much needed feature to avoid bunching in the wash.
