Sharing the Valentines LOVE with Hallmark

Valentine’s Day is one of my favourite holidays.  I love the colours and the designated day as a reminder of your loved ones; naturally when I was asked to participate in the Hallmark #PressPausePanel this year, I was more than excited.  When I look back at any holiday, celebration or grief, Hallmark has been a part of those memories; with a simple gesture of a card or a small gift seems to express the right kind of sentiment.  Of course I believe you should express your love regularly but with the hustle and bustle of everyday lives, Valentines Day for me means a special day to celebrate special people in my life and be mindful of my fellow man. This Valentine’s Day Hallmark Canada is helping Canadians express their love with a reminder to Press Pause, offering some of the cutest characters and fun or elegant card collections your loved ones are sure to appreciate.

As a parent I always try to give something special to my kids on Valentine’s Day and Hallmark is the perfect one-stop shopping for me.  For Valentine’s Day I received a box full of #PressPausePanel items to make Valentine’s Day a special one, including some special cuddle characters.  Cuddle characters are always a hit with the kids; they love the giggles, moves and cuddles each character is unique for.  Hallmark has provided something for everyone on your list this year with a full lineup of unique characters, fun and elegant cards and sleeves.

Valentines Day Gifts Ideas for Kids

These Hallmark characters are each unique but each as cuddly as the next.  “CUPIG” is my personal favourite; with the “Cupid Shuffle” shimmy/shake song and dance “CUPIG” is adorable in all his pink glory. “CUPIG” retails for $15.95 with each purchase of 3 Hallmark cards. Baby Girls favourite cuddly character is the “Love Ya Pup“; she loves his sweet flapping ears while he asks “Who do I love?” and howls “You-oooh!”. “Love Ya Pup” retails for $9.95 with each purchase of 3 Hallmark cards and has the co-ordinating “The Doggone Best-Ever Valentine’s Day Activity Book” for $4.95.

Something for You Pup – $14.95
Deliver a special something in a memorable way with this cute pup. Simply place an item in his mouth (anything from a card or flower, to a small box of candy) and give it to your loved one. When your Valentine pulls it out, the puppy will give a little “grrr” and then a happy “ruf, ruf!” with a wagging tail.

Ultimate Gift Bear – $9.95
This ultra soft and cuddly teddy bear comes with a festive (removable) bow. This bear can be used for any occasion.

Valentines Gift Ideas for Women

Most women love to receive flowers on a special day like Valentine’s and on occasion I like to receive some myself but although bouquets of flowers are beautiful, they die quickly.  Why not send a lasting impression with this “Blooming Expressions” vase; it’s the perfect way to give an expression of love to last all year long with a flower that blooms at the push of a button. “Blooming Expressions” retails for $24.95 with music  or $19.95 without music. More designs and colours to choose from.

Valentines Day Gift Ideas

Presentation is everything when it comes to gift giving; it’s that extra effort lets the recipient know your heart was put into it. It’s not always easy to think of just the right expression, that’s why Hallmark cards are always on my list for gift giving.  This year Hallmark has created a unique selection of coordinates to go along with their well-known cards.  I love that you can choose a unique embellished hand crafted card from the Hallmark Signature Collection, an elegant Card Presenters for Adults to top off that perfect card for your husband or wife or make it extra fun for the kids with a Fuzzie Wuzzie Card Presenter. Collections retail from $4.99 – $7.99; check a Hallmark location near you.

How will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year? Will you be doing anything special for someone?
