#BreakUpWithGroundBeef at the @MapleLeafPrime Twitter Party

I love to grill, even in the winter months I like a big juicy homemade hamburger fresh off the grill. Living in house of 7 hungry carnivores, okay 6 with Baby Ro not on solids but he’s a carnivore at heart, we go through a lot of meat. Hubs and Baby Girl designate time together every other week to get their hands dirty and make enough homemade ground beef hamburgers for the lot. This week I’m challenging Hubs and the family to #BreakUpWithGroundBeef and spice up our regular ground beef recipes with ground chicken and turkey.

Family barbecues are a regular occurrence here on the farm; gatherings of up to 20 is not uncommon. It’s not always easy to satisfy the different appetites that a crew of 20 arrive with and with so many mouths to feed BBQ burgers are an easy affordable choice sure to satisfy everyone’s tastes; I mean really, who doesn’t LOVE a good burger?

Crickets. That’s what I thought; I can hear the mouths watering from here.

Don’t worry, this isn’t a permanent break-up; nobody likes a bad break-up after-all but summer is a time to be carefree, not exclusive. We love ourselves some ground beef but chicken and turkey need love too.
