Darkside Ollie Childrens Robot Toy Review and Giveaway

OllieiPad

Welcome to the Darkside. Dun, dun, dun! Okay; okay. This isn’t the evil sort of Darkside, although the new Ollie Droid, a kids toy robot called Darkside, may need an attitude adjustment; it’s the mysterious type that seems to know how to do all the right tricks to get you excited.

We had a lot of fun playing with this fun little droid. It’s simple to use; you just download the Ollie app and sync the app to the charged Darkside Ollie and off it goes spinning into oblivion. The hardest part about the setup process is choosing a name; no matter what name you choose, Darkside is not a fan. It really hits the ego.

Upon opening the box you find a card with “I own you” staring you in the face; it’s a bit intimidating. I thought, what am I getting myself into here but surely it’s just a toy. I quickly learned it’s because it’s so much fun to control. Each time you play with the Darkside droid you learn more tricks to do with it and earn points; it keeps you going back for more.

I took Darkside over to my nephew to try out and he loved it. I had tried it with my little ones, ages 2 & 5; as long as I was controlling the Darkside they were giggling and chasing it around the deck. They were a bit too young to control it themselves but we had fun with it as a family.

IOS or Android, this guy is compatible and Bluetooth enabled. For a limited time, you can get a free set of hubs and tires with purchase of your Darkside. If you’re looking for something unique, the Darkside is a droid young and old will enjoy doing tricks with.
